 Great heaset, much better than Apple earbud headset March 14, 2010

I purchased this set to replace my second set of Apple earbuds that failed. I find them much more comfortable and great at isolating ambient noise while allowing me to hold extended cell phone conversations with almost no self voice interferrence.

They stop working - the cord near the plug breaks and sound stops. Returned the first pair and they replaced. Going to return the second. VERY bad quality.

I was willing to spend any amount of money for good pair of ear buds that would stay on my head and at the same time be crisp and clear. This is the only paid that worked for me. I tried a few different models, I even own the a pair of expense Bose headphones that now just sit in a drawer. This, combined with my iPhone, makes traveling or commuting a breeze.

when i first got the product one side would crackle like there was a short in the wire and the next day it went completely dead. i sent it in for return and have never gotten my money back

I purchased the iP-HS2 earbuds for travel to use with my iPod, as I read that they do a good job of isolating from noise. However, I never got a chance to try. I have gone through two pairs, and both failed. The first lasted nearly 2 months, and then one day the right side bud stopped working. I got them replaced, and the second pair, sitting in front of me now, lasted about 1 hour. This time it was the left side.
It is too bad. While they worked I liked them very much. They insulate well, they sound great, they even look great. But if they won't work, what good are they.
I am told that my experience is unusual, and I have an option to get another "free" replacement (costs me return shipping). Once bitten, twice shy.
