Great design. Someone really gave it some thought. And the surge protection works well; however, I found that the surge protector isn't designed to handle a compound miter saw. That seems to blow it and I had to send the unit back to the manufacturer to get a new one. They were great, but I'm still dinging them 1 star because I would have preferred to see the fuse blown (switch tripped) rather than have to replace the whole unit.
No problems with my laptop, phone charger, portable fan, and electric razor all charging at the same time.

I was on vacation in S. Korea and needed a way to charge a few portable devices (e.g. laptop, mp3 player, camera batteries, etc). I did not want to buy an outlet adapter to charge each of these devices, and did not want to carry a bulky power strip around either. This Monster power strip with an outlet adapter (a separate purchase) were a great solution. The power strip itself is well made, compact, and does not take up much room. It's an excellent buy. Don't hesitate!

Maybe not critical gear, but easy to pack and carry when traveling (I used in Italy to split one transformer into multiple charings simultaneously). Worth having.

I bought this for a 2-week trip in Asia. The power strip is small and design to be very compact. It worked as advertised and did not take up hardly any room in the luggage. A great product for travelers.

Wonderful for international travel! Or even domestic. You only need to carry one non-US electrical socket adapter plug - to plug this cord into the wall socket abroad. Then you can use this extension cord to connect up to 4 or 6 (depending on model you get) electrical devices. Light weight. Works on 110 or 220 lines no problem. It has earned a place into my on-the-road electrical gear bag forever. And the plug cover actually lights up to let you know current is being passed through it. Nice touch.
